pickI've been thinking about this book for awhile now having finished it about a week ago. It is definitely charming in a Southern American Gothic way so if you're really into that and need a fix this is fantastic. I was Southerned out by O'Connor so the after effect was somewhat of a slow burner. I'm very happy I read this, it has fantastic character and, I think, some really beautiful ideas. Recommend.
A timeless fable I recommend whole-heartedly. I'm currently enjoying a glass of wine, but remembering this story makes me crave a shot of whiskey and a few tissues. #FunFridayPhoto book with an animal on the cover. I've noticed a surprising amount of posts for this category are books with birds on the cover. 🤔🐥🐔🕊🐧
