This is a picture book that is broken up into 3 chapters and is centered around the idea of friendship. The characters are show support for one another in their endeavors of writing books and cooking. This book is one I would use in my classroom in the future.

This short “chapter“ book by James Howe is a great story about trying something to new and overcoming disappointment and fear with the help of great friends. Great read aloud for a class (that is willing to sit through a couple different stories).

This book was published in 2006 and is a heartwarming and humorous story of a friendship. The book is split into three “chapters“ and follows Houdsley and Catina on their journey of wanting to become famous, and their friendship. I would definitely recommend this book, and I will definitely use it in my room.

This book tells the story of two friends, a dog and a cat. Catina wants to be a writer, and Houndsley wants to be a cook. They both realized they were not too good at what they wanted to do. Catina and Houndsley realized they did not need these talents to become happy but they just needed each others friendship.
