This book is a science fiction winner of the Hugo award and would be a great book for literature circles. The book is set in a futuristic war where the smartest kids are taken and trained in the academy. There Ender faces challenges and excels at new rates. He has issues with others around him and for being understood, but is constantly pushed and forced to grow. The war with the aliens is coming to a near close and it seems to be all on Ender.

When I first started reading this book I loved it, then it sort of lost me at the end.

MinDea Have you seen the movie? Is it close to it? 6y
akc2ngel @MinDea Yes, I saw the movie. I liked the book better, but thought the movie was also good. 6y

Orson Scott Cards science fiction novel is set in the future where a young boy named Ender is sent of for military training. His intelligence is revealed and used as a weapon to fight an enemy called "the buggers". He uses game simulations for training that would soon end up winning him the war. The plot twist at the end will have you questioning what side to root for. #UCFLAE3414sp17 http://www.hatrack.com/osc/books/endersgame/endersgame.shtml

DrSpalding This is one that I have only seen the movie and not read the book, which is rare. A good example of science fiction. 7y
