#Naturalitsy #HyggeHourReadathon part 2.
I spent $8 for wifi during the flight mainly to test my earbuds with AirFly that I bought to stream sound from iPhone & inflight entertainment. I watched the pictured movie with dinner (Good, but I didn‘t know I was going to 😢) & now I‘m trying to read the book for work I need to read before Tuesday, so I have Crazy Rich Asians on for the background.😉 I‘ve seen it enough I don‘t need to pay attention.

I‘ll be on a plane for #Naturalitsy #HyggeHourReadathon so here‘s my early #hyggehour

Due to severe travel/airport anxiety I‘m always ultra early to the airport. Today that meant a couple of hours before boarding as everything went smooth so I grabbed a bowl of tonkatsu ramen. From a sodium perspective maybe not my best choice before flying, but as tummy-warming comfort, it can‘t be beat.

Starting the tagged for my virtual foodie book club.

DebinHawaii Headed Hawaii to Chicago, 4-hour layover & then Chicago to Maine for a work trip before heading back Friday. ✈️ 6d
BarbaraJean That looks amazing! Hope your long haul across the country goes well! 6d
kspenmoll Looks delicious! Good luck on your long journey! Although no where near as long as your flight, I leave for a wedding in CA in Sonoma County this coming Thursday.✈️ (edited) 6d

#HyggehourReadathon

Aargh, I completely lost track of the days! Sorry. It's a bit late, but hopefully, you're well into the habit now.

I've really missed these weekly communal reads. I'm really looking forward to resuming them.

I plan on a candlelit bath listening to #NaturaLitsy current read (tagged).

What are your plans?

Pickpick

Soft pick because she doesn't mention European bears... Other than that it's a great book, especially for bear lovers.

I was so very lucky to see the Northern lights tonight, here in the UK. They were visible across most of the country, thanks to a rare solar storm
That's another ✔️ off the 🪣 list.

My lovely greengrocer gave me a punnet of a sprouting plant called Atsina® Cress. All I found about this mystery plant is: “This cress is named after an old North American tribe, the Atsina Indians. They used the leaves of this plant to make a warm sweet drink to ease the pain when they had a sore throat“ https://www.koppertcress.com/en/products/atsina-r-cress and no mention of the plant's common or latin name. Any idea what this is?

#Naturalitsy

Dilara Also, the cheek of a Dutch agriculture company trademarking a First Nations name! 1w
IndoorDame It‘s a brand name. Cress is a mustard type herb with several different varieties. I‘d look up generic instructions on caring for cress plants. I think this one has an anise flavor, but just taste a leaf to be sure and you‘ll get an idea of how to use it. 1w
Dilara @IndoorDame I know it's a brand name 😁 but I find the branding/trademarking of traditional plants infuriating, which why I'd like to know its real name 😡 I doubt it actually is a cress - Koppert seem to call all their micro-leaves “cress“, even when they are not (their peashoots are called “affilla cress“) 😂. To me, it tastes like a cross between licorice, mint and aniseed. Delicious eaten straight from the pot. 1w
IndoorDame @Dilara definitely infuriating! 1w
