It got off to a great start with the tension and mystery surrounding who the murderer was, I would never have guessed. It was someone I was not expecting and that's what made it for me. I feel as soon as the murderer was revealed it went down hill like they were cramming in murders for the sake of it. The motive behind the attacks was a bit of a stretch. It seemed rather cheesy for me as it's set at Halloween and it reminded me of Scream Queens.

Alex and Eliza: A Love Story | Melissa de la Cruz

Pickpick

I'd heard about the show Hamilton but didn't know much about it. So when I heard about this book I jumped at the chance to read it. It took me 5hours to read I was so engrossed in their love story and actually found I didn't mind that it wasn't 100% historically accurate. The speech and attitude of the character's was all very proper and dignified, it reminded me of a Jane Austen book but better!! It is the best book I have read this year!!

So I have mixed feelings about this book, I thought the end was great but I would have liked an explanation...??!! I was just getting into it when it finished, I wanted more! I would have liked to read more on the dreams and on Zat, I felt like it only skimmed the surface of his character, as he seemed the most fascinating to me. I loved the concept for this story, it's so original and is one of the reasons I kept reading. 3/5

Last Seen Alive | Claire Douglas

Pickpick

This is the first book by Claire Douglas I've read but it definitely won't be my last. Normally I can guess where the plot is heading within a few chapters. Not with this book, the twist was one I didn't see coming, and I thought it was such an ingenious idea but it didn't stop there... just when I thought she had neatly wrapped up all loose ends she went and wrote that ending!!! ...seriously?! It is well worth a read you won't be disappointed.

If even one person picks this up and it makes them think twice about how they act/what they say and that helps to save someone's life as a result, then there are no amount of stars I could ever give that would do this book justice.

In one word FANTASTIC!!! I thought the concept was brilliant, I was right there with Eldon wondering what would I wish for? and some of the consequences of other people's wishes were great!! I would 110% recommend this book and I wish you would all go read this NOW!!! (Haha see what I did there!!!)

This was a typical YA love story. I instantly didn't like Novak, I thought Julia was too gullible believing him as it seemed really obvious that he had ulterior motives.
I thought Angus and the lost boys were awesome I loved how reckless n carefree they were, I'd want to be in their group!
I loved the ending, I can't wait for the sequel. Overall I think this was a brilliant debut novel one I would definitely recommend
