To experience Sarah J. Maas‘s growth as a writer is truly an honor. As we‘ve learned from all of Maas‘s books, people aren‘t always as they seem... With that being said, Celaena Sardothien, the assassin that started it all, is someone that I‘d want to have my back and my heart. Cheers to the start of one hell of a series!

I‘m so glad I got to read this short Christmas special around Christmas time! A nice change of pace after a few hearty books. There are Important minor events and character developments happening in this short novel before the second half of Maas‘s second hit series! So don‘t put it on the back shelf!
