A book that contains a lot of my favourite things, record shops, lists, musical snobbery. Whilst Rob the main character can be quite unsympathetic. It‘s a great read and glad I finally got round to reading it after watching the movie many years ago

A riveting read from start to finish. The narration in the form of progress reports as we follow Charlie on his journey through the book is a clever way of moving the story forward. Glad I finally got round to reading it.
