3/5 this book was quite underwhelming, and im so disappointed that I didn‘t love it because I really wanted to after having LOVED The Binding. It‘s a slow burner with quite a confusing end if I‘m being honest, and I finished the book with so many questions being left unanswered. I do have to give credit to the amazing world building, and beautiful aesthetic that it created. The characters were so interesting too. However it was still a let down.

I was actually really excited to read this book. However, for me, when I started the book it was really hard to actually like any of the characters or relate to them - even the main protagonist. However as the story progressed it, it actually started to make sense and the story started to fall into place. The story is a great premise, but it couldn‘t have been better had there been more relatable subjects. 3/5 🌟from me. 🌞

Pickpick

honestly such a gripping story, at first I found it a little difficult to get on with because I felt there was a bit too much ‘info dumping‘ but then it really started to pick up in Part 2. The characters (especially the three sisters) are so likeable and relatable that you root and hope for a successful end to their story. A story of witches and suffragists in the 1890‘s that is equally charming as it is suspenseful. Definitely 5/5 ✨
