just finished the beekeeper of aleppo and let me tell you, it‘s fascinating in a horrific way. the story had me in trance from beginning to end and never once got boring. it‘s an eye-opening story that tells the struggles and horrors refugees have to go through in order to just survive, definitely a must read for everyone! (but especially for people who fail to understand why helping refugees is so so important and the only correct thing to do)

The Song of Achilles | Madeline Miller

instead of writer‘s block, i‘ve been suffering from reader‘s block. I finally started reading The Song of Achilles after having it on my desk for months and let me tell you, i‘m finally out of my slump! This book really did it for me, started out slow but interesting enough to keep me reading for hours. Thank you Madeline Miller for this beautiful piece of work :)
