New Paper Girls! And gummy candies.

Supposed to be working on a school project due Friday, but instead I've been reading all day

I've been too busy with school and too distracted by internet scrolling to read much lately, but I finally started this tonight and am completely absorbed

I love Traci Mann's examples of when we maybe should feel guilty about food: cannibalism, stealing from a baby, or finishing the last of someone's ice cream 🤣

Breakfast and started reading #TheObesityMyth. I'm writing a research paper about a Health at Every Size framework's effects on clinical outcomes, so I scooped this up from the library to see if it will give any useful sources or background. It was written in 2004 though, and I'm a bit wary about using sources that are that old...

Finally my hold on Soul of an #Octopus came in! This is my first #audiobook in a while. I usually lose focus when listening to books, but so far I'm totally engaged in this

Everyone is right: Giant Days is great. Will be acquiring volume 2 ASAP

I went to see The Shape of Water with coworkers last night, and one of them brought me volume 8 of Saga. So obviously I'm dropping everything else I'm reading til I finish this.

I love it when people write anything that breaks #monogamy norms. I do not understand people's problems with flirting.

This book was slow to start for me, but now I'm totally into it. I related really hard to "I'm in love and it's boring"-- about how love used to feel all- consuming, especially when being dragged along and emotionally manipulated, but being in love with someone who's kind/caring/supportive/reciprocates your feelings is easy and kinda boring.
