Asterios Polyp | 
This has been on my to read list for awhile after seeing it in a “best of graphic novels or comics or something” list. Didn‘t want to read it enough to pay for it but I ran across it at the library so I‘m trying it out. (Glad I didn‘t pay for it just sayin).
Asterios Polyp was my first introduction to graphic novels a couple of years ago. I still use this book to reference an incredible execution of duality and exploration of human mirrors.
pickI like to think I respect the capabilities of #graphicnovels as literature, but this one honestly floored me. The structure and melding of characters with ideas is consistently brilliant, and the ending is one of the most audacious I've ever read. Learned afterwards that it was 10 years in the making, and I can believe it. Absolutely staggering.

Both this and my other current #graphicnovel read, Master Keaton, are highly segmented and well suited to spliting up over different sessions. That's good, as I've lately found myself in a bit of a funk when it comes to marathon reading.

Seriously though, this month I'm looking to set more manageable goals for myself, focusing on books I've already started and working to gain some momentum.
Also gonna start counting #graphicnovels towards my reading goals, especially if said books aren't the kind I'm likely to knock out in a single sitting. Asterios Polyp has been on my radar for a while, and I'm long overdue in diving into Master Keaton.
