#BookNumber1 Sigh. I don‘t really know what to do with this book. I was a fan at the beginning, then my excitement sort of faded, and then I was almost moved to tears at the end. What I will say is that the author, M.O. Walsh, had a good message. How can you know that your life is changing, while it is happening rather than in hindsight? I don‘t know, & this book did not necessarily help me answer that question. Read on in comments...

heeadie I cared for the characters, but I did not fall in love with them, or feel as though I am losing a friend when the book finished (as I normally do). I wish there was more connection with the characters, honestly. Another complaint I have is that all of the action in the book is sort of just… skipped. 2y
heeadie The author is talented when it comes to telling the reader what is happening without directly telling you, but sometimes a book needs to acknowledge some of the action while it is happening, not only after the fact. Finally, some loose ends were never really tied up. Who the heck is Tessa and Ricky? Please let me know if you read the book, because I haven‘t figured it out. Happy(ish) ending but would have liked to have fallen in love with it more. 2y
