1. For me it‘s the smells of nature…freshly mown grass, crisp air in fall, the smell after it rains….that remind me of certain times in my life.
2. Halloween as a kid. We would trick-or-treat for hours! And get big candy bars. And dump our candy on the floor to separate. So much fun.

Today we have friends visiting overnight while they drive from the east to the west. Hoping I have a little time to read this book. Apparently I entered a Goodreads giveaway by mistake….and won this. I have just started it and so far it‘s excellent. It‘s wild to see the impact and similarities of this time in history to our present time.

This book had such an early Stephen King vibe. I loved horror as a kid and this one really brought me back. An evil man opens a model train store in an upstate NY town…and bad things happen. I had such a ood time reading this one.

Now I have read all her books. This was one dysfunctional family! Best part of the story was it took place in northern NJ where I spent most of my life. I knew all the towns…kind of like a visit home.

Oh great.

I chose this book as my favorite because I absolutely loved the audiobook. Not my genre but after not being able to pay attention and bailing on a few audiobooks….this one grabbed me. Leads me to believe maybe I‘m just in a mood for romantsy audiobooks? We shall see.

My 2 biggest joys are my Valentine‘s card from my grandson. He knows I love books so he made a cover of a Stephen King book, Harry Potter and coffee. Kid so gets his Nana.

Also it‘s going to snow for 2 days so lots of reading…that‘s 2 joys. And the last is peace and quiet because my husband will be skiing. 🤣
