I took a long hiatus from here to focus on my degree (almost finished) but for now I thought I‘d just post about a book that kept me on edge from start to finish.

It is true that this book is incredibly well written, gives enough away without ruining the plot which subsequently makes the reader think. The story is fantastic, a difference to my usual historical reads but was just so gripping!!

This book is probably one of the best I have ever read. The biography of one of the most inspirational women I have ever read about! I finished this book in 2 days. An incredibly moving and emotional story 💔

As a history student, I have already read 'The Diary of a Young Girl' numerous times and visited museums in Amsterdam dedicated to one of the most interesting and tragic stories about this amazing girl. I decided to read her biography to delve deeper into her life and family. So moving and detailed, I recommend giving it a read!

I have spent the first part of my Menorca holiday 🌴 reading the extraordinary book 'Room' by Emma Donoghue. Recommended to me by my lovely boyfriend, the book was incredibly moving and I was on the edge of my seat. I am impressed that Donoghue tackled the inner monologue of a 5 year old child so cleverly. The writing style (if at first slightly jarring) told the story amazingly and I could not put it down 👍🏻
