I remember this being my favourite the first time through and this reread confirms it absolutely. The story telling, characterisations, pacing, suspense and descriptions are telling of why King is so good at what he does.

This isn‘t high writing, this is writing for the masses but that is not a bad thing. Thoroughly enjoyed this book again and now my only concern is that I know the other books don‘t back it up.
