Currently reading Goodbye, Paris. What are some of your favorite contemporary fiction novels?

I play this game on a regular basis! Five people, dead or alive, to have dinner with. There was so much raw realism in this novel. It was everything I needed to read, I felt like the story was written just for me. A gem!

Best book, so far, that I have read this year.

I didn't think I was a fan of the letters. I thought I wasn't attached to any of the characters because of this writing style but I was oh so wonderfully wrong. ☕☕☕☕

This book started off delightful and then towards the middle I was sort of over it. Am I the only one who thought this?
