I enjoyed this book a lot. It was humorous and lighthearted but also conveyed the difficulty and heartbreaks of living in London during the Blitz. I loved the story line, the characters, and the dialogue and expressions that felt like it was straight out of 1940‘s England.

This book is a classic for a good reason. It‘s a fun and enjoyable read with beautiful writing, wonderful wit and humor, keen social observations, and incredibly well developed characters. Love it!

I‘ve read TKAM several times but just recently listened to it as an audiobook for the first time. Sissy Spacek was an outstanding narrator and I thoroughly enjoyed hearing her read it.
