Genre: Thriller
This was the first book that caught my eye from the first ten books that I saw. I decided to start reading this book because I wanted to switch the genres a bit. I chose to read this book because I was looking for a thriller book and this book is about these people that were supposed to relax on their break but it doesn't go according to plan.

The chapters that I read today was about Tris (one of the main characters) passing the initiation of the Dauntless (the brave) and meeting new people. She begins to make friends through this little journey in a gigantic cave underground. This book has some comparisons with the Hunger Games series.

I forgot to post about this when I started reading, but I decided to read this not only because my mom brought it home the other day, I went online and looked around on what this book is about. The summary of what this book is about caught my attention and the characters.

Fiction
I realized that the author was very descriptive about everything that he was talking about, from the first chapter to the chapter that I am on right now. Once in a while, the author uses figurative language, he might‘ve added more figurative language but I missed them. I like his way of writing because in the end of some chapters he uses suspense and it makes me want to read further and she what will happen next.

Fiction:
There has been 3 places that the story has been taken in, the central part of the city, the hospital, and Ethan‘s hotel room. If the book took place in an abandoned forest, that would be very interesting because stating the fact that he didn‘t know where he was, he would have to figure out where he was and how to get out of there. I‘m not sure where the story should take but maybe where Ethan‘s partner is.

I have read more than 3/4 of the first chapter. The characters are Miranda the barista, Mack Scozie, Jane, and Agent Stallings. The injured man went to the coffee store to ask the barista if she knew him and she didn‘t, so she went to this random guys house and he passed out in front of the stranger‘s house. His name was Mack and his wife, Jane, and they helped him get to a hospital and then the man remembered Agent Stallings.
