Guess what? The book was way better than the movie. Who would have guessed? Great writing. It was hard for me to put down and it even gave me goose bumps 3 or 4 times.

Effing brilliant. Much better than the first book in the series and i really liked that book. A much more refined tale of punk rock, violence, drunkenness, alien type weird things, angels, filth, gore, many kicks to the crotch, foul language, and dirty motel rooms. Just pure joy. Loved it.

Where to start with this one? It felt like William S Burroughs and David Lynch decided to make a war film. I really liked it but I am sure I would have gotten more out of it if i had a better appreciation for surrealism. That being said, I did enjoy this book. It felt like reading a dream.

This book had a good creepy lovecraftian vibe going on. It was a real page turner. I couldn't wait to see where it was going and I was not disappointed when it got there.

Very funny. I love Kevin Hearne's writing but I was not sure I wanted to read a book from a dog's perspective. I am glad I did....well written, laugh out loud funny. Highly recommended to any Iron Druid fans.

I really enjoyed the series as a whole. Once I got into the groove of the writing style I couldn't put it down. I really liked the ending. Well done. A beautiful and captivating piece of art.

Book five of the Codex Alera series. This book was action packed and just when you think things couldn't get worse/harder/bleaker they do. Similar to Butcher's Dresden Files series, the action, the intensity, and the stakes keep escalating. Great characters. I love the strong female characters. one more book left in the series and I don't want it to end.

Fun. Fast paced. Weird.
A punk rock book with a punk rock attitude. I really enjoyed it and will definitely read the sequel.
