Carrots | Colleen Helme
Pickpick

Action, wit, and a bit of romance? Why not! Shelby is a mother of two and the wife of a lawyer. All she wanted was to buy some carrots. She gets shot and develops mind reading abilities. Now she's thrown into a world of danger. How can she juggle her life at home and the gift she's been given. Is it really a gift at all? I have truly fallen for this series.

Mehso-so

I liked the book. I didn't have any trouble distinguishing between Hanna speaking and Clay. However, I felt there needed to be a bit more character development and I didn't think there was enough to get attached to any one character. There were parts that could have been detailed better. People who could have had redeeming moments didn't get any. The ending was unsatisfying to say the least, but it wasn't a horrible read.

ButterlyUtterly I actually preferred the TV show! I thought there was much better character development in that although I suppose they had more time. 7y
Nerdydarla I agree. The show had more development. I saw the show before reading the book... and was a bit disappointed by the book 7y
