This book was fun, the characters interesting, and though the tropes are ridiculous I love them anyway. Also, I really appreciate when authors tag their work thoroughly on amazon. I‘ve noticed a lot of indie romance authors do it and I don‘t know if it‘s a hangover from fanfic but I approve. Yes, I‘m in the mood for m/m hea with fake boyfriend trope. And there‘s a sequel!

I tore through this series. I mean, the books are relatively short but I‘m loving the characters and their arc and growth. I‘m pretty invested.

This was fun and cute and I enjoyed the world building that was just a tiny bit out of sync with the real world

I‘m on a mystery boyfriends kick at the moment I guess. Enjoying the well rounded characters and the fact that I have an idea of who the killer is but no real clues to back it up...

So very enjoying this series. There is serious character growth, although whyborne‘s insecurities can get a bit grating.

Sequel to Widdershins. Excellent detective story, and I will never look at a crustacean the same way again. M/M loving the character development in this one

Victorian American detective story with magic and monsters and science. A bit Mary Shelley, with smut. Actually a bit scary in places! M/M but it‘s hardly the main point of the book. I love the female character a lot.

Excellent sequel with great character development. New mystery, but sticking with the antiquities theme.

Enjoyable mystery story with disabled and neurodivergent characters. M/M romance, explores a bit the social harm of toxic masculinity on gay men who have to remain closeted, and their partners. Also Lots of literary allusions which made me happy

Could have done with another good edit. Concept was better than execution

Not bad - if I was a spy and I found out my partner who I thought was normal was also a spy I‘d probably also throw them in the Thames...

Finished the third in the series - they finally get together! And it‘s so sweet, but of course there‘s a sad and the main character, then stars prince, now has to become king. The action sequences were neat though

Enjoyable story of a man whose family is killed and escapes with his outsider slave who ends up saving his life and showing him the error of his prejudices. Kind of cliched. They don‘t end up together in this book but there are hints. Second book bonds are more tightly created in friendship - a mysterious benefactor emerges. There‘s a kiss between the two main characters, then the prince finds out he is actually the son of the enemy. Predictable?

Styxx | Sherrilyn Kenyon

Slowly making my way through this series. Up to Styxx but reluctant to begin because I‘ve read it‘s pretty heavy going in terms of squicky content.

M/M romance, new series from Charlie Cochet. Enjoyable read, steamy and well plotted.

MsDeannaF Was lucky enough to win an ARC of the second book - just as good, sweet, fun to read 6y

Kind of offbeat and funny, a really different take on wizardry
