This is the best fictional novel I've read in a while and I read quite a bit. The writing itself is beautiful to the point of being poetic at times. The plot isn't predictable yet goes precisely where it should. Unlike many books in this genre, I didn't question the events and likeliness of circumstances. This fictional world made sense. The book was a highly enjoyable page-turner. I enthusiastically recommend it.

Bird Box: A Novel | Josh Malerman

Enjoyable, quick read that kept me interested. A few points bugged me but that is typical. If you think you'll find out "what" & "why", give up. You just have to go along for the ride which is full of suspense. It is worth reading and I look forward to more books by Josh Malerman.

I loved this book! After reading the history of each of the Scandinavian countries, I also read this. The combination made me well prepared for my long awaited trip to Sweden & Norway. I'd often wondered about the "rest of the story" to how perfect these countries appear to those of us on the outside. This book clears all of that up in a very entertaining way.

History of Norway | John A. Yilek

This provides a very thorough view of Norway's history. It is an entertaining read even though it includes a great deal of information. It made my family's visit to Norway much better as I was better able to plan our trip and be our tour guide of sorts while there.

This book was one of the best I've read in a while. The history was incredible but the story kept me turning page after page. I'm excited about visiting Monticello in a few weeks with more knowledge of the things that happened there. Highly recommend this book!

I was born to die and my reason and conscience tell me it is impossible to die in a better or more important cause." -Alexander Hamilton in an unsigned personal letter to the Royal Danish American Gazette 1776
