Spoilers!

The teen angst and White's insightful writing are both on target. So is the depth of mother/daughter relationships as well as sister/sister and platonic besties.
I also L-O-V-E the gay Watcher, cheesy demon, and the looming destruction-of-the-world plot device. It all feels genuine to the show.
Didn't like: the protagonist (Athena "Nina") hates Buffy and blames her for her current situation and the end of the Watchers. 80% complete.
