Tried to read this book a couple years ago but couldn't get into it. Figured I'd give it another try.
Well I enjoyed this but the end was disappointing.
I live in Iowa and my library has some books I want, mostly the popular ones, which then have long waiting lists. I figured I'd give one of these libraries with non-resident borrowing a try. I went with Brooklyn. Happy with my decision so far. There's books my library doesn't have and shorter waiting lists on them and I can borrow titles for 21 days instead of the 14 days my library ebook collection allows.
Unfortunately this one didn't keep my attention. Had to put it down after 30+ pages.
Any US members thinking about signing up for the Book of the Month subscription? My link will get you a free book when you sign up 😊
Got home from work and finished it. Ah!!! That ending! 😬 So glad I already have the next book borrowed from the library.
1. Tagged Hounded by Kevin Hearne. Love that series 😂
2. Um, nothing really other than the fact that it's finally Friday.
3. I have no idea.
4. Yes. 10 on my dad's side and 6 on my mom's side.
I've been working up to walking more for a month now. My knee would bother me before but now it's doing much better. Today is day 3 for reaching over 10,000 steps for the day. Audiobooks help with the walking. Audiobook I started today is tagged 😊
Did a little walking around at work this morning and found a Robin's nest.
Bird fact: People say that if you touch a birds nest or eggs that they will abandon it because it smells like a human. This is a myth. Birds don't have a good sense of smell. I learned this while volunteering to check Bluebird nest boxes. 😊
Most birds are protected by law though so I don't recommend messing with them or their nests.
