revisiting a series i missed out on finish as a youth really was wonderful, very excited for the series (tv) and the rest of the series (book). i still have two more books to go until i hit my divergence point so it feels similar to meeting an old friend. very nice

Great artwork and introduction to the Dune universe from a graphic novel perspective!

What could I possibly say about this book other than drop what you are doing right now and start this now! What initially sold me was the premise which promises a new age spin on a classic story (Lord of the Flies) with a solid grasp of the nuances that go into making ‘real‘ sounding (and feeling) characters. I laughed, I cried, I shuddered, I did a Rock “The Dwayne” Johnson eyebrow raise, yada yada. Go read this!

I adored this book, from the start the chemistry between the leads was so palpable that I spent the rest of the book riding that initial high. Instead of telling me why Aaron and Lina should be together, I found that I was looking forward to the moment in which Lina realizes this for herself. I loved this from start to finish 🫶💕
