cozy-mystery, India, relationships, relatives, mystery, threats, matchmaking, secrets, lies, small-business, Mumbai*****Radhi Zaveri is a writer who recently came back from USA after the divorce and is currently shadowing the matchmakers for an article. People are the same everywhere (and so are the gossipmongers), but the cultural differences (and names!) are like the flavors of the foods the author tantalizes us with.Loved it!

Gugu Giraffe: Goes Fishing | Auralee Arkinsly
Pickpick

Gugu Giraffe: Goes Fishing is a picture book in a series for Early Readers (Book 3) by Auralee Arkinsly and several editors via CAPTURE BOOKS.
The story is folklore but the information about the other animals indigenous to the continent of Africa is nonfiction. Great reading alone or in a group.
Well suited for reading WITH someone of any age including ESL, and great for gifting to anyone, and even to a school or teacher or your public library!

Don't Eat Me | Colin Cotterill
Pickpick

The newest Dr Siri Paiboun is exceptional as always, and has more dramatic twists than a mountain road in Norway! There's lots of suspense, humor, and understated horror (related to this book's public awareness message. There's even something new with the spirits!

Sorry I don't know how to give a picture of an ebook.
This very inspiring story is told by a man who had his sight taken from him in war and made a new life for himself with a lot of help and a guide dog.

Great book! Great series! Set in late 1970's Laos, Dr Siri Paiboun is one part bush surgeon, one part untrained national coroner, one part shaman, one part Inspector Maigre, and a whole lot of fun. Reviews for each are on LibraryThing
