Another sci-fi novel that has really caught my eye -mostly down to the amazing cover art. 📖 I love the quote from Hugh Howey (another fabulous author).

Set in 2040 as humans have just got over their addiction to robots. The book opens into a scene in which there are multiple 'Babybots' confiscated from children and placed in a warehouse where they await their fate. 📖 This book has gone straight onto the TBR pile!!!

Such a harrowing look at Chinese history through the memoirs of three generations of women. I've learned so much about the country's past through the eyes of normal people, and I am now very eager to learn more. A dark book, and it's difficult to read too many pages at a time.
