Pickpick

Suspenseful and horrifying, this novel will stay with me for a long time. While adding to my lingering fears, I have also fallen helplessly in love with it‘s language and unearthly beauty. If you like true gothic novels and are willing to face the things that go bump in the night (or hiss, for that matter), then I thoroughly recommend picking up a copy of The Silent Companions.

My #bookstack for this weekend's #24in48 readathon! This will be my first time participating and I've even roped my sister and mother into it with me! Is everyone else ready? Only a little over two hours left until go time!

Pickpick

Finished this fun debut fantasy novel by Sarah Tolcser today. If you like adventure tales with pirates, sea monsters, a little romance, and some interfering Gods this is the book for you. It's a light read with lovable characters. Being the first in a series it sets the tone and leaves you open for more at its end. I look forward to reading the next one.

vanesdigregorio I really enjoyed this one too! 🙌 7y

Happy Sunday! My current read is The Assassin's Blade. I know, shame on me for having read the rest of the series first - but, I am really enjoying seeing where Caelena began. And, who doesn't love reading about Sam?!
