Maltese Falcon | Dashiell Hammett
Mehso-so

Ok, I‘m not sure what to say. This book is such a classic, and I can see why. But, it took me forever to finish. The pacing is slow, and the focus is more on dialogue than action. I actually got bored and had to put the book down a lot. I generally like mysteries that are faster paced, more character development. Hmm...maybe I‘ll try another book by him later. I‘ve read that others are better.

I did like this book, but it was very slow in Parts 1 & 2. A lot of detail about historical features and information about psychology at that given time slowed my reading down. Part 3 really picked up, and saved the book for me.

Heir of Novron | Michael J Sullivan

Was going to take a break between Rise of Empire and Heir of Novron but I just couldn‘t. I have to know how the trilogy ends. I am already on pg 58 of Heir of Novron, and it is really good.

2/20/2019: little late with an update as I finished this about a week ago. But, I wanted to say this book (and series) is well worth the read. The series builds in character development at world building in each book until the end. And, what an ending!

AlwaysForeverReading Sounds like a great trilogy. Welcome to Litsy!!!💜💙♥️💕💚 5y
