Mehso-so

This book felt tedious to me. I enjoyed a lot of the story and quite a few of the scenes. Since most of the torture our main character suffered was in her mind, it didn't have as much excitement and action as other Stephen King novels. Still a good story though! It had some disgusting actually scary scenes. Can be triggering for sexual abuse survivors.

Pickpick

I adored this novel. The depth of friendship in the story and the heart Stephen King puts into his character development is truly amazing. Pennywise is such an interesting villain and all the hero characters have traits that are endearing. I don't think anyone could read this book and not want to identify as one of “The Losers“ by the end. Quite a few thrills and gross moments between the characters with the backdrop of fictional Derry.

Small town with lots of drama and violence and explosions! A tangled web of greed and evil. EXCELLENT ending and just an all around joy in the Stephen King Omniverse. Leland Gaunt is a fun villain and I would love to see him in other adventures.
The gore and adult content (not a lot is sexual) is strong in this book which is part of the entertainment. It's like a circus of insane people, pranks, suffering, and random objects.

Best book of the entire series in my opinion. And epic adventure into Roland's teenage years. Complete with violence and sci fi, horror and romance. This book has it all.❤🤘
