I pop in and out of Litsy. I love reading and I've written a children's story about the end of chocolate. Please don't hate me! www.chris-callaghan.com

Crackling with magic, adventure and humour. But it was the wonderful characters and how they bounced off each other that made this so much fun.

BooknerdsLife Loved it so much! Especially the audio by David Tennant was brilliant 😄💙 5y

Right then. Let‘s start this beast. It has a LOT to live up to.

Finished this treat on Christmas Eve. What a perfectly magical story. I believe. All over again! #Christmas #ChristmasEve

Death or Ice Cream? | Gareth P. Jones

Wonderfully weird collection of dark tales that gradually interweaves. Full of dark humour and creepy characters. Highly imaginative and, even though the subject of death permeates every page, it‘s huge fun too!

Amazingly twisty and turny time travel adventure. The sorrowlines are a brilliant invention and the story thunders on at a cracking pace. I‘ve already got the next one ready for reading!

A humdinger of a book. Full of great characters and wise-cracking dialogue. It's completely barmy and hilarious. And I want a fish like Bob!

I often get asked at events what is my favourite book. That's a difficult question to answer, as there are so many contenders. But I often answer with this.
I know it's an obvious choice, but it is a book I've loved since first reading as a teenager and have come back to it - in all its forms since.
Now, the more I learn about writing, the more I realise how much this book breaks all the rules. And I love it even more!

I've had these beauties by my side for decades. Always guaranteed to make me laugh. Full of wisdom, tiny details and proper laugh at loud stuff, long before we even knew how to spell LOL!

Loved Dave and Skipper's latest anarchic adventure. Full of fun and great lines, but it's put me off nuggets for good!

A wonderful insight into the memories and mind of our greatest storyteller. With a lot more gore and brutality than you'd expect - which would explain a lot! #RoaldDahl #memoirs #childrensstories

ChocopocalypseChris It's lovely isn't it @BookishMarginalia. I've a well thumbed paperback, but it's always good to have a pretty hardback :) 7y

Fantastically clever with non-stop thrills and threaded with Eoin's wonderfully 'warped' sense of humour. Once I've caught my breath, I'll read the next.
