The book the outsiders written by S. E. Hinton is a book about two gangs who always have rivalries. The Socs and the Greasers. Ponyboy is the main character from the Outsiders and falls for a girl named sandy. Later on in the Ponyboy and Johnny get in a fight with Socs. Ponyboy begins to be drowned in a fountain by bob. Johnny who saw this came and stab Bob. They both go on the run and try to hide from authorities. Johnny later dies from injuries

The Outsiders is a book about Greasers and Socs. In this book Ponyboy is faced with the rivalry of his gang and the Socs. Throughout the book he is faced with obstacles for example when Ponyboy was getting drowned Johnny had to stab Bob so Ponyboy could live. They then had to go on the run and made it to a church. The church caught on fire so Ponyboy and Johnny saved the kids who were inside. Johnny later dies from injuries from fire.
