On page 11 and loving it already... This is just so painfully funny.

A little present for myself... Pushkin Press editions are so pretty in their simplicity. Can't wait to start reading.

I'm usually sceptical about self-help or personal improvement books, but this one, this one is worth a try. Especially in audio version read by the author who is a charismatic speaker. It made me want to give my creative goals and dreams another chance...

My latest library pick. After my disappointment with Colourless Tsukuru Tazaki... I'm looking forward to reading Murakami's early work again. He is one of my favourite summer reading authors.

It was my first Muriel Spark and it left me rather puzzled. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I read it for a book club or uni seminar... Should I read more Spark?

The Girls: A Novel | Emma Cline
Pickpick

I couldn't put it down. Emma Cline is very observant and poignant in her exploration of the pain of growing up, need to belong and be accepted, loneliness of the languorous school holiday, first infatuation... Beautiful writing too.

Reading 'The Girls' because I really fancied something new new new... And the hosts of the wonderful podcast The Books on the Nightstand praised it in unison.
