They say that someone isn‘t a true expert in something unless they can explain it at a middle school level. NDT Does just that. I have learned so much just from this book and it has made me excited to learn more about astrophysics. I can listen to a news story on the radio about some new discovery in space now and actually keep up and know what they are talking about. It‘s been a long time since I was this excited to learn about science!Good read!

BenFringuello Additionally, this book might make you feel small and insignificant at first once you start thinking how big the universe is and how tiny we are, but as he explains, once you start to learn more about the workings of the universe and our place in it, you begin to feel a lot more comfortable knowing that our search for knowledge of the ever expanding universe is helping us to advance our life, not making us feel smaller. 4mo

I always describe these books as “ya know how like, you have a weird dream, and it makes perfect sense while you‘re having it, but then you wake up and try to make sense of it, and it makes no sense at all? Well, GRRM somehow finds a way to write about these crazy dreams in a way that actually make sense.” Esp. in the first book. Only issue I have is that I get tired of reading entire paragraphs describing every detail of every character‘s outfit.

It‘s something alright. Not too bad. Really kind of interesting though. I mean I did finish it though so it must not have been horrible! Not sure if I‘m gonna read the sequel or not.

Realized we never read this in school... so I saw it at the thrift store and picked it up. Gave it to my mom to read first and she said “the main character is a total cynical asshole... reminds me of you. You should read it!” Anyways I read it and I thought it was great! Made me laugh a LOT. Which is not a review I hear a lot about this book but it‘s really true, it‘s hilarious.

Leftcoastzen 😂😂😂😂She doesn‘t hold back! It‘s still an important book to me , I read it when I was young and not so young, love it still. 5mo
