I finished this book last night and absolutely adored it. The Gown tells the story of Ann and Miriam who are seamstresses in post World War II England. They work for Hartnell, a designer, who created Queen Elizabeth‘s wedding dress (and coronation gown.) This also tells the story of Ann‘s granddaughter, Heather as she strives to learn more about Ann and her life in England. Such a good read! This book has friendship, love, and a beautiful gown.

I finally watched the Crazy Rich Asians movie last night and dove right into the second book of the trilogy, China Rich Girlfriend. I‘d seen mixed reviews, but I‘m 3/4 through the book and so far I‘m really enjoying it. I think it helped to watch the movie and see the opulent society Rachel Chu was being introduced to. #crazyrichasians #chinarichgirlfriend
