I read this book in a night. It was too good to put down and I found myself awake at 2am finishing it up. This book is a must read with so many fascinating characters.

Pretty good book. I'm a so-so history buff and love learning the stories of women in history. It was a good read but also very slow which made it hard to finish.

Wonderful book very reminiscent of Humans of New York. There is nothing more touching than hearing the individual stories of a people and learning of the things that shaped them into who they have become. A must read.

Greatly enjoyed this short book of poetry. So many excellent turn or phrases and so very descriptive.
