These books! I didn't expect to enjoy them half as much as I have been. Naomi is a helluva writer, I've loved everything I've read by her so far.

I didn't read any Dahl as a kid, so this was my second one after Charlie earlier this year. I didn't realize I was reading it on Dahl's birthday but I think it was appropriate how it worked out. I was a bit shocked at how violent it was, but I loved how cleverly he hid swear words. Overall it was a fun story for adults who don't take literature *too* seriously.
