Wish You Were Here | Jodi Picoult

Mehso-so

I enjoyed the introspection Hannah has during the story and Picoult does not disappoint in leaving me with a poignant and timely message. However, I jdon‘t think I was ready to relive those early months of the pandemic so I didn‘t enjoy this as much as I had hoped. This is a solid Jodi Picoult book and if you are ready for the Covid flashbacks you will probably enjoy it!

The Collective: A Novel | Alison Gaylin
Mehso-so

This is a dark thriller that kept me both uneasy and intrigued. The Collective is a group of women who connect anonymously over the dark web seeking justice for people who killed their children but didn‘t receive proper punishment. Camille has been grieving her daughter‘s death for 5 years while consumed with anger over the lack of punishment for her killer. She finds a new sense of purpose with The Collective.

The ending was good.
