pickExtremely heart-warming and laugh out loud funny book. I enjoyed the story even though it‘s actually quite devastatingly sad. It‘s written with a lightness that keeps the dark elements from dragging it down, yet it has depth as well. “GUP” is just a fantastic character, and the city of Palm Springs almost becomes a character as well.
