For ¾ or may be ⅔ of the book it was a slow burn of an interesting story then it switched dramatically to a fast paced thriller even a little scary. I enjoyed it.
I tagged the book #girlwiththepearlearring because it's the book that made me fall in love with Amsterdam, Johannes Vermeer, Rembrandt. I was just 15 at the time. 💕 This picture taken in June 2019, 20 years later I finally visited Amsterdam 😍. Most importantly #CuypersLibrary in the #rijksmuseum. That's me👆looking around in wonder. Best experience ever.
I am currently in Amsterdam for the first time ever and I am absolutely loving it! Of course we had to visit the Rijksmuseum and of course the library was my favorite part.
