pickI thoroughly enjoyed this book! I‘m trying to introduce a wider variety of genre‘s into my life and I was not disappointed by this, considering it was published in the early 60‘s, it tackled subjects that would‘ve been quite controversial at the time, which is what made me love how raw and unapologetic Richard Yates made his characters.
