I was genuinely so upset when Kisten was brutally murdered that I threw the book across the room and donated the entire series to a thrift shop (I had the cool covers too - so some regret there) and just never went back… but somehow remained subscribed to the authors enewsletter… maybe I should revisit?

I love this series. This one is #11. There is an unexpected sacrifice, which totally made me cry. If you like witchcraft, elves, pixies, and vampires, you would like this series.
