“Most people sitting down to dinner don‘t realize the important role honeybees played in preparing that meal.”

Next to my porch in my garden while I was reading, a monarch butterfly visited my bee balm & milkweed! My neighbor has seen monarchs, & yellow & black swallowtails. When I stopped by for a chat, I had the privilege of seeing all three visit her garden. 🦋

I love this book as a read aloud and a way to learn about animals and insects. This would be great in a series of lessons that teach about the small animals around us.
