If I was dressing up as a literary character, I think it would be Mary Poppins. #partylikethereisnobookparty
@Mowen036 Thanks for the chance to win your giveaway! I love your question!
If I could dress up as any book character, it would be September from Cat Valente's Fairyland series. She wears an orange dress & a green smoking jacket & looks like Autumn incarnate. If I could do it without the non-literati asking who I was all night, I'd dress up as September for Halloween in a heartbeat. Can we have regional Litsy Halloween costume parties this year?
Thank you @Mowen036 for the #partylikethereisnobookparty #giveaway
My mum has pictures of me dressed up as Jane Eyre from when I was little (for a fancy dress competition, my sister was Adele, we didn‘t win), but I‘d rather be someone a bit... feistier as a grown up, but I love historical fiction so I think Amelia Peabody Emerson: Victoriana but with divided skiers and an Egyptology twist!
Thank you @Mowen036 for the #partylikethereisnobookparty #giveaway opportunity.
My initial thought for literary character to dress up as is Elizabeth Bennet - she‘s one of my favorite characters in all literature for her feistiness, her sarcasm, and her wit.
I‘m giving away 2 copies of The Last Book Party!
