Who else re-reads old books for their comfort during especially stressful periods of their lives? So far both Jurassic Parks, Fahrenheit 451, and now all the HG trilogy. Love my favorites #noshameinmyreadinggame
Zelma Absolutely! My typical comfort rereads are bookish nonfiction titles like 84 Charing Cross Road, Ten Years in the Tub, Ex Libris, etc. 6y

Ingridelaine82 @Zelma I feel bad not reading new books but then there‘s something about coming at a book I read in my early 20s and now in my mid 30s. I think it will be like reading it for the “first time” all over again. Does that make sense? 6y
Zelma @Ingridelaine82 absolutely. I think every book is experienced differently depending on age, life circumstances, mood, etc. I sometimes reread books I hate or loved much later justo see if it still holds. Hence why I‘ve read Catcher in the Rye more than once. (And still hated it. 😂 ) 6y
