Peddler410 I‘m reading this for a book study with a colleague— we‘re both middle school librarians. My daughter was excited when I mentioned Jacob voices Double Trouble on She-RA and the Princesses of Power. That animated show on Nexflix scores high on my daughter‘s list for LGBTQIA+ representation. (edited) 3y
Kenyazero @Peddler410 that's such a fun connection to make! I haven't seen the show yet (it's on my list). 3y

Pickpick

I wouldn't call this one a pick for me, but it wasn't So-So either. More of a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ read. This magical realism memoir takes an interesting look into the life of a creative trans woman and her experiences living on the Street of Miracles.
Content warnings for trauma, rape/molestation (though it's portrayed through a reoccurring metaphor), assault, murder, and self-harm

CaseyTheCanadianLesbrarian How was the audiobook narration? 3y
Kenyazero @CaseyTheCanadianLesbrarian Well done and engaging! The reader's pace was very good, and the tone fit well with what was happening in the book. 3y
