#BookMail part 2 - approximately 30 pounds of homeschool materials. I included kiddo and the cat for comparison - but as they‘re both tall it has a little less impact! 😆 And there‘s a little more on the way. I have a LOT of prep to do. 😳

Teaching Writing: Structure and Style [Seminar Workbook] | Andrew Pudewa, Institute for Excellence in Writing

Long shot, but I'm running out of places to post this. Would anyone here have an interest in the tagged book plus DVDs along with the high school level student books and DVDs? I also have an extra Writing With Skill workbook, Level 1 (different curriculum). I can donate them to the thrift store but they're a little specialized and if someone knows they could use them, I'm happy to ship them within the US. #homeschoolersoflitsy

TheBookHippie The local used bookstore here that I volunteer at runs an inclusive homeschool program k4-12 grade throughout the week. I imagine they would like it. I teach the reading literacy on Tuesdays my son teaches cursive twice a month. ♥️ 2y

ImperfectCJ @TheBookHippie Would you like to ask and let me know? I don't know how the one you're mentioning works, but some homeschool programs don't go outside their chosen curricula, and if these aren't part of what they've chosen, they might not have a use for them. 2y

ImperfectCJ @TheBookHippie Super! I look forward to hearing if anyone can use it! There's a full lightly used Level C of the old edition and an unopened sample of the new edition of Level C. And the Writing With Skill workbook is unused (I forgot I already had one and bought a second). 2y

Free Range Learning: How Homeschooling Changes Everything | Laura Weldon

so-so

This book reads like a textbook, which made it really hard to connect with it. And it‘s LONG (275 pages of double-column text). Though nominally supportive of general homeschooling, it‘s specific to unschooling for most of the text. I don‘t feel like I got much out of it, except for a few resources to look into. There are better, more current books out there.
