Mostly I got this because I love The Lazy Genius Podcast and I wanted to support Kendra. But as with anything, there were a few gems to take away.

My July #BookSpin that I actually read in July and has been sitting in a pile of books to post to Litsy since then.

Living a Beautiful Life | Alexandra Stoddard

Pickpick

One of the first books I ever read on making a house a home. Growing up in a dysfunctional family, clutter and chaos was the norm. This book was life changing for twentysomething me. Rereading all these years later, I'm surprised at how many things are part of my routines. Yes, it's a bit dated and pretentious in places, but it taught me so much: seasonal eating, flowers in the house, and setting a pretty table. 🌸

Crinoline_Laphroaig One of things that made this house 'The One' was this little area in the Master Bath. When I'm doing my hair and makeup I'm surrounded by things I love: flowers, candles, and my yoga frog. 🐸 1y
