Another #PrettyBooks for me. #30JuneBooks
I‘m surprised to see such opposite reviews on this! Probably because I started it before all the hypes set in & so I wasn‘t expecting anything while reading it, but was immediately drawn by its beautiful writing and the setting of the story, a period fiction with a little mystery & sadness. A beautiful cover too
Which one are you, love it?Or hate it?

Feeling pretty meh over my last few reads (including a couple of bails). I'm hoping this will be a nice palate-cleanser before I read my book club selection and then decide if I want to start a new series.

My first historical fiction in what seems like forever and it was a great book to get me back into the genre. I related a lot to Helena and getting to see her journey to become her own woman was written so well. Not to mention Sam! Where can I find my own Sam!! 😍 4/5🌟

Trying something new in June by making myself a TBR pile! I have never actually completed one before and either get distracted by other books or intimidated by how big it is 😱 so fingers crossed that I can finish it 🤞🏻 first up is Moonlight Over Paris 😍

Liatrek I loved the bookshop around the corner 😊 2mo

CoffeeNBooks I often don't get through my entire stack for the month, but I like planning ahead. You've got some books on your stack that are also on my TBR stack (just not for June). I really liked The Bookshop on the Corner! 2mo
ofclumsywords @TheWintergarden aw you‘re welcome 😊 congrats on 5,000! 🥳 2mo
ofclumsywords @CoffeeNBooks I have only read one book of Jenny Colgans but it was so wonderful I am beyond excited to read more books of hers! 2mo

Enjoyed this historical fiction about 1920s Paris as a light story about a woman finding herself and growing into her life as a young artist. Not fantastic fiction, but nothing I have to complain about!

⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2

I got about halfway through this book and there was no conflict. The writing was good but the character was just having a lovely time day in, day out. Womp, womp.
