pickLoved “Watching from the Dark“ was such a good book in the DCI Jonah Sheens series. The second book left me wanting to read more of Lodge's books.
A guy, Adain, witnesses a murder on Skype. He calls the police but waits a day before. DCI Sheens finds out about the case and soon takes over. He is dealing with people that aren't telling them everything they know.

Thirty years later that missing person‘s body is found. That‘s the gist of the plot without giving too much away. This was a fantastic debut.
